![]() ![]() Use the Nexus and a decent mod organizer. Originally posted by CVC Grouse:The workshop is trash for games like this. People will still use and likely prefer the Nexus, and those are users Bethesda should expect not to get back, so why would they also want to enable the Workshop further segregating the modding community? It's a safe assumption they'll use instead of the workshop in order to keep as many mods on that platform as possible. Bethesda is launching the CK through, which they will also be using to distribute mods on consoles. ![]() ![]() ![]() The Nexus is literally better for mods in every single way.Įven then, there's no guarantee FO4 will even have Workshop support. There were a few for Skyrim that I used, but even then I subscribed to them, used Mod Organizer to manage them (Gopher has a video on how to do that), and the unsubscribed. The only good reason to use the Workshop is for mods that may end up being Workshop only. The workshop has terrible sorting, it auto-updates mods, there are limitations to the number of mods you can subscribe to, there are limitations to the types of mods that can be installed through the workshop and therefore the types of mods available on it. The workshop is trash for games like this. ![]()
